Who We Are

We’re two businesswomen and moms with four kids among us, who want to never stop exploring earth’s marvels—specifically its magnificent, majestic animal kingdom. We want to inspire parents and kids alike to keep searching and learning throughout life. Our children’s worlds expand every time we introduce them to something new.

Each of us brings unique expertise and skills to our roles in The Creature Crew:

Ginger is at the heart of TCC. She studied zoology in college before earning a B.S. degree in organizational management from John Brown University. She made a successful career in the business world, and TCC is the product of more than two years Ginger spent brainstorming about a business built on her love for animals. What would it take to create a subscription service for kids that brings to life creatures all over the world? The question would not let go until she acted on it. Ginger heads up the business, design, and research sides of TCC. A mother of two, she gets a lot of inspiration, input, and crafty ideas from her daughter and son.

Marian is the creative genius behind TCC’s crafts and activities, as well as a dedicated question-asker who ensures no detail goes unchecked. With a long-time background and business in speech pathology—and as a mom of a teenage daughter and son—Marian has great instincts for what speaks to kids. She brings a plethora of ideas and discerning input to our team. Marian earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in speech-language pathology from the University of Arkansas.
